winter wonderland

it is already half way into winter, yet i heard this is not as cold as it normally gets.. we are in mid january and there's not much snow outside.. what a pity.. it was snowing the night before, but it's already melting and there's no new snow.. after a day or two, white snow on the roadside turns into grey or even black which is rather disgusting.. now i think back to december when it first started snowing and everywhere was all white.. my friends and i went out for a photoshoot one day.. it was just wonderful - with the sun shining and the snow glittering.. too bad we didn't make any snowman..
