making decisions
funny how we can relate many things we learn in class to real life.. i was at the point where i had to make a decision whether or not i want to go on with an interview.. i know, to many people, it sounds absurd.. why would anyone not want to make use of this opportunity? and it sounds like one is giving up even before giving it a try.. my situation adds a little bit of constraint onto it.. at some point i wonder if it's worth the effort, espcially knowing that i will never make it to even the 2nd round anyway.. then again it's like i hear voices saying "just try, and see how it goes.." if only i have some solid data or info on this type of situation.. maybe i can start drawing my probability tree :) yes? or no? which way to go? what are my expected returns on the different scenarios? i think i regret waiving mckeon's decs 434 now.. i realised i missed many awesome professors! and now that it would be useful for my fin 2 class, i regret even more.. *sigh* :: all that said, i did make my decision (pressured by the response deadline of course).. will take my chance and go through with it! yep! and that means i'm gonna have to do a lot more prep.. midterms are also around the corner, gosh.. everything is just clashing here.. just looking forward to the week after next when all is done.. at least for a while :)
